Current Status of Artificial Intelligence in Smart Home

- From Literature and Product

Abstract

The popularity of smart home products in modern buildings is getting higher and higher. With the increasing demand of life quality improvement and the awareness of energy conservation and environmental protection, artificial intelligence is gradually being used in smart home. This research aiming to summarize the application status of artificial intelligence in smart home from the aspects of improving occupants' comfort and efficient utilization of energy. Through the investigation and analysis of literature and smart home products in the database and search engine, this research shows that artificial intelligence is mainly used in voice recognition, Image recognition, judgment of the situation, decisions making, predictions making and so on. Different functions are used in different types of rooms to improve occupants’ comfort and reduce energy consumption efficiency.
