Title

Study on Mechanism of climate response and ecological restoration in high density urban area

Abstract

Rapid urbanization has brought great wealth to cities, at the same time it has also brought unprecedented challenges to the ecological environment of urban settlements, such as low ecological efficiency, aggravated environmental pollution and increased ecological burden. Based on the local characteristics and ecological problems of high-density settlements, taking climate response as the principle of environmental control, and referring to the requirements of residential environment in the “Evaluation standard for green building GB/T 50378-2014” of China, the report puts forward the ecological environment restoration goals of high-density residential green environment, water environment, wind environment, space environment and symbiotic environment. The expert interview method is used to explore the importance of ecological factors in different climate zones and different types of settlements so as to puts forward the corresponding ecological restoration strategies: integrating greening space and allocating plants scientifically; restoring permeable base and recycling rainwater; establishing wind duct and barriers, strengthening natural ventilation and creating climate buffer space; enriching the base surface, remodeling maintenance surface and embellish with facilities; introducing animals and plants according to biological chain, building characteristic animal sites and constructing wetland parks to achieve harmonious coexistence. Furthermore, the mechanism of the two-way interaction between climate response and ecological restoration is further discussed, and it is clear that climate response is the basic principle of ecological restoration, which in turn affects the interaction mechanism of climatic environment.
